Last Saturday we had calm, dry and mild weather for the majority of Albina and Simon’s Brighton wedding, and when you consider that heavy rain was predicted throughout, we were truly blessed! We took full advantage of the situation and took lots lovely fun and natural shots in a variety of locations around Brighton. We even managed a few shots at the Pavilion entrance, not realising that there was a bride waiting patiently behind me and returned for a wet and windy finale at the Royal Pavilion ice rink. For a small wedding with a handful of people we managed to pull off some quite remarkable images. Here are a number of my favourites:

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Engin and Steve’s wedding at Brighton registry office in Brighton Town Hall. I’ve known Engin for a while now and always knew that her wedding would be a laid back and joyous occassion. It certainly was as you will see from this selection of images. Once they have returned from their honeymoon you’ll be able to see a larger selection of images from their wedding in their wedding gallery.

We are so pleased that we chose Paul to take our wedding photographs. He really knows how to put people at ease and as a result all the pictures reflect the happy, relaxed atmosphere of the day. Amazingly, he remembers so many names too. Paul is not only warm and friendly, he is a great photographer and extremely professional. There isn’t one shot that we’re not happy with, which makes it really difficult to narrow them down for our album! Thank you Paul for capturing so many of our wonderful memories.

Engin & Steve, Brighton Town Hall

Congratulations Yulia and Andy and well done for braving the Brighton showers to ensure great photographs!  The day was wonderful, despite the weather, and with Yulia’s elegance and Andy’s charm we couldn’t fail to capture the atmosphere and emotion of the day.  The wedding car was a beautiful classic Citreon owned by Andy’s father and driven by Sam, and as luck would have it, Little East street behind the Town Hall provided the perfect Parisian style backdrop to photographYulia, Andy and their car.  After heading on to the promenade in Hove for a second shoot, we arrived at the Sussex Yacht club for a relaxed drinks reception.
