Last Saturday we had calm, dry and mild weather for the majority of Albina and Simon’s Brighton wedding, and when you consider that heavy rain was predicted throughout, we were truly blessed! We took full advantage of the situation and took lots lovely fun and natural shots in a variety of locations around Brighton. We even managed a few shots at the Pavilion entrance, not realising that there was a bride waiting patiently behind me and returned for a wet and windy finale at the Royal Pavilion ice rink. For a small wedding with a handful of people we managed to pull off some quite remarkable images. Here are a number of my favourites:

Recently I photographed a lovely wedding in Uckfield, East Sussex for Hayley and Deon. Hayley and Deon live in Western Australia, so they employed the services of Sue and Clive, wedding planners at Eleganza weddings. I’ve worked with Sue and Clive on a number of occasions and it’s always a pleasure. They deserve some promotion from me because they are always successful when recommending my services. With this in mind I felt that a feature on ‘OMG I’m getting married’ would be a great start and a real possibility with such a lovely set of images. I’m pleased to say that yesterday the feature for Hayley and Deon’s wedding went live with links to my website, Eleganza Weddings, Briony Billingham Floral Design and Christina Jessel . I had another lovely wedding to shoot yesterday for Amanda and Tom at Boltleys Mansion, Nr Chertsey, Surrey. The weather was spectacular, the location was absolutely beautiful, the bride was stunning and the bride and groom were an absolute pleasure to work with. Here are some of my favourite images from the day, including shots of the lovely flowers by House of Flowers in Chertsey and dance shots courtesy of a brilliant set by a wonderful band – Intraverse.
