and how would you like your wedding photos Sir?

There are so many styles out there for us photographers to follow, so much so that we can’t be everything to all.  I still favour emotion and energy in my wedding photography over following a trend, however manipulating an image can enhance it, evoke emotion and provide a connection to current trends. Here’s a great wedding image taken at Hurstmonceux castle which I have manipulated to prove the point above.

1 – Original image

2 – Muted colour and sharpened

3 – Vintage effect

Personally I love the second effect and this works well for my style of photography. Vintage works well too, however it needs to be used images with a vintage theme or ones that suit a vintage look.

modern, fun playgroup and nursery portraits

Paul Fletcher Photography offers modern, fun and engaging portrait photography to playgroups  and nurseries in Brighton and Hove.  There  is no charge for the service and the portraits are available to view and purchase in a secure gallery on my website.  I have shot portraits at my daughter’s playgroup, Playtime Under5′s, for the past four years.  Playtime Under 5′s Proprietor Mrs Crookes would be happy to give me a testimonial and I am more than happy to be CRB checked.  Here are a few portraits from previous sessions with parental permission.
