a sunny spring wedding at Pangdean

All week I watched the weather forecasts to see how the atrocious weather we were having in the South East would pan out for my two Pangdean Old Barn weddings in East Sussex on Friday and Saturday. The forecast changed regularly and eventually on Friday we ended up with one of the best days of the year so far; what a stroke of luck! The weather had ensured that Hannah and Alex’s wedding would be a great success.

My day started with the bridal party in the Surrenden area for informal brides preparations and continued at St Marys in Surrenden for the ceremony. St Mary’s Catholic Church is a great church for photography with some spectacular light to play with. After the ceremony we hopped on a vintage bus and headed on down to Pangdean Old Barn for a long and enjoyable drinks reception and wedding breakfast. As usual the scene was one to savour, the staff were incredibly attentive and the food fabulous (thank you Hannah and Alex and of course the Pangdean team). Here are a selection of the wedding images throughout the day to whet the taste buds!
