I photographed two weddings at Pangdean Old Barn in East Sussex this weekend, the second of which was Jenny and Andy’s. Jenny gets my vote for ‘bravest bride of the year award’ for braving the stormy weather and ensuring we took a great selection of images at Pangdean and the church!
My day started with the bridal party in drizzly conditions in East Grinstead and continued at St Peter and St John the baptist in Wivelsfield, where we were blessed with dry weather throughout. Despite the wind and cold we managed to stick to our plan and get some lovely shots outside the church and down by the pretty wrought iron gate, before setting off for Pangdean Barn with high hopes of dry weather. For the majority of the time at Pangdean Barn it wasn’t to be, but then that’s the beauty of Pangdean, they have plenty of space indoors to escape inclement weather and keep the photographer and wedding party happy. We did manage to take a wander around the gardens to experience some of that South Downs charm and to get those all important shots of the bride and groom. I must give a special mention to The Ashdown Classic Wedding Car Collection who provided the absolutely beautiful Rolls Royce. Here’s a selection, with additional ones to follow shortly.
