I attended and photographed an event today at the Mandolay Hotel in Guildford, run by Tourism South East for its members. The event centred around ways in which hotels and wedding venues can take simple steps to win new wedding and event business and was hosted my Shopper Anonymous. Armed with many interesting wedding statistics and examples of common mistakes, they put together a comprehensive guide to improving customer service, which in turn will improve conversion rates. The workshop proved very popular and certainly gave me a few ideas to improve my sales technique. Here are a few images from the event to set the scene.
