a buzzing boundary club despite the rain stopping play

Rain may have stopped play at the Sussex County Cricket Ground, but it didn’t dampen the atmosphere at the Boundary Club. Over 170 members and guests kept the room buzzing and lots of familiar faces once again made it a firm favourite of mine, and no doubt many others! Guest speaker, Eleanor Harris, CEO of Brighton i360, gave us an exciting insight into the stages of construction, confirming that the maximum height of the tower has recently been reached and that the pod is currently being constructed in France and will be fitted in November 2015. It won’t be active until April 2016 and I for one will be booking my family ticket early doors and I’m really looking forward to shooting many weddings on the Brighton i360 and corporate events too! One quick mention for tremendously worthy cause, Oscar’s Wish Foundation, founded by Gemma Kybert. Gemma’s journey with her bereavement has led to her forming a charity to help others, which has helped her come to terms with her loss and in turn offers an inspiration to us all! A fitting end to another wonderful networking event! Here’s my take on the day.
