my trusty wedding camera gear

My investment in my Canon DSLR system over the last 10 years has resulted in some wonderful wedding photography I’m very proud of. I use a Canon 5D MKIII as my main camera, a Canon 5D MKII as my backup, both of which I have attached to my Black Rapid RS Double Camera Strap during a wedding. I favour the Canon L series lenses and love using my 50mm F1.2L , 100mm F2.8L Macro, 70-200mm F2.8L and my 35-105mm F4L, however I also make great use of my non L series 35mm F2 prime lens. I find that this mix of primes and zooms gives me complete control and scope in the most challenging lighting conditions, and as a result I almost never use flash. I want the finished image to be true whether I use flash or not, favouring bounced flash when required. A great wedding photographer will have invested many thousands in their kit and this will show in the quality of their images. A great wedding photographer needs to know his camera inside out so that he/she doesn’t miss any golden opportunities during the wedding day, all relevant factors when considering whether you want to employ a pro over an amateur. Couples make the best of what they can afford, however, ask yourself, can you afford not to get the best photographer for your wedding. I offer great value for a superior service, so please don’t hesitate to contact me for availability to find out more now.
