Marianne and Julian {a cool and elegant Alfriston wedding}

Marianne and Julian’s lovely Alfriston wedding was a glorious occasion at the Chapel Centre and Deans Place in Alfriston. I started with a swift bride’s preparations in Willmington before heading on down to the quaint and characterful ceremony venue, The Chapel Centre in Alfriston. There was a real sense of serenity at the Chapel Centre and it provided the perfect backdrop for a delightful ceremony that was all about family and friends, with a captivating musical twist. The bride and groom allowed plenty of time to mingle with their guests outside the Chapel Centre before we took to our feet and headed off to Deans Place, where the afternoon sun bathed the beautiful blooms in a rich, golden glow and the sweltering heat teased the sceptics, confirming the arrival of a fitting English Summer. My service was complete once everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast and I left contemplating the wonderful evening light the wedding party had in store and which of the wedding guests would be first to dip in the pool.
