emily and matt’s farbridge pre-wedding shoot

I returned to Farbridge today, ahead of my next Farbridge wedding in April, to give the lovely Emily and Matt some time in front of the lens. A pre-wedding shoot is a great way to dispel any worries about being on camera, to learn to feel comfortable with your photographer and to experiment with a few techniques that may require too much time on the wedding day. When we arrived at Farbridge so did the rain, so we sat and chatted about the plans before deciding that we’d brave the weather regardless. I say we, I kept my umbrella up most of the time ;) Miraculously the sun found a way through the grey clouds and the sky was transformed into a warm, yet menacing backdrop, perfect for this particular shoot. The session was pretty swift and I must say a huge thank you to Emily and Matt for giving it their all in a somewhat sludgy field! Here’s my take on our enjoyable hour in the country.
