I returned to the splendour of Lancing College Chapel in West Sussex yesterday, this time for Jem and Rich’s wonderful wedding. Having started off at brides preparations in drizzly Brighton, I was relieved when the bride turned up in a gorgeous 1950s Morris Minor in more seasonably dry weather. The ceremony, the readings, the choral singing, the violin recital and the hymns were phenomenal, not forgetting the spectacular backdrop. After the photographs in the arches below the chapel, we set off for Court Gardens Farm in Ditchling for a festival style wedding reception that came with some truely festival style weather, torrential rain! Not to have our spirits dampened, we enjoyed every moment and made sure we took the opportunity to make sure every shot counted. An upbeat and unruffled bride and groom ensured we had a wonderful afternoon and evening with wonderful photos to match. Thanks Jem and Rich and congratulations once again. Thanks must also go to Andy, my 2nd shooter, for great support and another set of great photos. Here’s my take on a fabulous wedding day:
