a mayfield school chapel wedding fit for a king

I was treated to a spectacular day for Sarah’s and Matt’s wedding recently, starting with the day with bride’s preparations at the stunning Mayfield Grange and groom’s breakfast at the Rose and Crown pub close by. A lovely start to the day, but the best was yet to come! The wedding ceremony at the Mayfield School Chapel was quite simply breathtaking, the chapel having been the Great Hall of the Mayfield Old Palace, built over 800 years ago. The first image below shows the chapel in its full glory and what more could anyone hope for, to have a backdrop as beautiful as this for their wedding! A fabulous ceremony was followed by a rural lovely wedding reception at Laughton Barns, where we were lucky enough to end the day with a glorious sunset over the lake. It was wonderful working with you both Sarah and Matt, and here’s my take on your fun filled, atmospheric day! Enjoy!
