{sofia and ben} an australian swedish wedding ceremony and kew gardens reception

What a wonderful day and what a lovely group of people! An early start and a hearty breakfast in Kew Gardens Village kick started my day, followed by a chilled and fun groom’s preps close to the station. It’s always good to help get your eye in early and with all the children present there was plenty to keep me occupied! Next we jumped in a taxi ride and were promptly delivered across town to begin the formal proceedings at London’s Swedish Church. A sight to behold, a beautiful Swedish church with a beautiful Swedish bride. In a Swedish ceremony things are a little different, so Ben and Sofia met for a few special moments at the church before walking down the aisle together. A lovely ceremony followed with Swedish and Australian translations and if that wasn’t enough fun for the day, the next step was to board an old Routemaster bus to take us all to the wedding reception at Cambridge Cottage at Kew Gardens. Wow what an absolute treat, loads of great candid opportunities on the bus and plenty more throughout the afternoon and evening at Kew Gardens.
