The priory and its possessions was then granted to Thomas Cromwell. Following Cromwell’s execution in 1540, it was granted to Anne of Cleves. The existing Priory’s East and North wings were built in the 13th Century and the later addition of the West wing in the 16th Century, built around the same time as the timber barn. As a bride and groom you have so much to enjoy here, the stunning architecture of the Priory itself, the majesty of the grade II listed barn or the extensive gardens that are the icing on the cake for any wedding.
