Wow, three seasons in one day, but what lovely light we were blessed with! I started my day with Hannah and her bridesmaids at the Horse Guards Inn, Tillington, a lovely pub that I often visit after a long family walk. There was bags of energy from the bridal party to keep the morning lively and fun, and when I arrived at the barn there was plenty more on offer, despite the sudden torrential downpour. The ceremony was lovely as ever and the day went by in a suitably relaxed fashion with many hours of mingling with guests and several short couple shoots spattered throughout the day and evening to make use of the best light. I particularly loved the session we had in the amongst the wheat, the poppies and the puddles! The dancing was full of energy and so much fun to end the day with. All in all this was an absolutely gorgeous wedding with a lovely couple whom I’d got to know and enjoy spending time with during their Sussex pre-wedding shoot. Four special mentions need to be made because once again it was wonderful working with two of my lovely friends, Angel from Angel Like Flowers, enjoying her beautiful flowers, and Jenna from Jenna West Makeup, enjoying the fruits of her labour with her awesome makeup and unending friendliness! Then we have Nicola and her team at Grittenham Barn for the most fabulous venue and their efforts and finally for the food by Eat The Street, which was delicious and exceptional, as always! Here’s a taster of their lovely day.
