Having lived in Brighton and Hove for 25 years I always enjoy the opportunity to shoot weddings in my home city, so when a Brighton wedding comes up I jump at the chance and enjoy every moment!
I’ve been recommended ny Brighton College for the past 10 years or so and it’s the perfect all year round venue. It’s architecturally stunning and provides a fantastic backdrop for a wedding. My next wedding at Brighton College is in April 2020 and I can’t wait to return!
Below you’ll find my most recent wedding there at Christmas 2017 and the pre-wedding shoot leading up to it. The couple shoot was extremely quick, so imagine what we could achieve together with a little more time. Enjoy!
Jenny and Pete – Their Christmas 2017 wedding was wonderful and relaxed, although I was kept on my toes to avoid freezing the bride! A ten minute couple shoot and a small group shot list meant that we spent minimal time outside and maximum time with the guests inside during drinks in the quad. Jenny and Pete – Ahead of Jenny and Pete’s Christmas wedding we took the opportunity to get together for a couple of hours in Brighton for a pre-wedding shoot. We started in the library at Brighton College before jumping on a bus into town, shooting in the Royal Pavilion gardens (avoiding the ice-rink), before heading to the Brighton pier and finally the beach. You can’t ask for a better way to get to know your wedding photographer leading up to the wedding and any fears you have about being in front of the camera will soon be dispelled!
